Church of St. Maurizio

Tiny church in Milan. EVERY surface is covered in frescoes.

GoPro 360 degree video here: Church of San Maurizio - Milan, Italy

Basilica of St. Ambroglio

The church was begun in the 4th century.
The first picture is a fresco from 1545. Still in great condition.
The second photo is the sarcophagus of saints Nabore and Felice who were beheaded by the Romans.

Garue Fly shop in Milan

We stumbled upon this little fly fishing shop in Milan.  We are avid fly fisher persons so this was a pleasant surprise.  The nice lady running the shop spoke no English but we were able to have a bit of a conversation anyway.  They had a line of fly box that I can't buy in the USA anymore but have been wanting to buy a second one for years.  She had one sitting in the glass case and I snatched it up.  One of the guides that works for her came in while we were there and was very nice and gave us the low-down on the fly fishing scene in the Milan area. Judging from the large, top quality selection of gear, it's really happening. If we ever get back to the Milan area, we will definitely book a trip with these folks!

You can find their website here:  Garue Fly Shop - Milan, Italy

The Dome of San Sebastian - Milan

Passed this little church in Milan while walking to another one. It wasn't even shown on the tourist map!

Stopped for a Spritz

Walked 6.3 miles in Milan so far today. Stopped for a Spritz at Caffe Mag in the canal district to rest our feet before heading back to the hotel.

Flight to Amsterdam

This is the set up for Delta One class on international flights.  The Supreme Being is getting her nest all set up for the long flight from Minneapolis to Amsterdam.  This set up was very comfortable and the food provided by Delta surprisingly good.

First leg done

Spending a couple of hours in the Delta Sky club in Minneapolis.  One of the nicer Sky Clubs in the Delta system.
