Northern Italy Trip

We are about to leave in a couple of weeks to scratch off the first item on our Bucket List.  The plan is to travel light, with only what will fit in our back-packs, and cover most of the highlights of Northern Italy by train.  We've been to Italy a few times already and we haven't needed a car yet.  We will fly from California to Milan and cover a large loop of cities, and fly back out of Milan to return home.  Here is our itinerary - not including day trips.

Milano
Torino
Verona
Padova
Venice
Ferarra
Bologna
Modena
Mantova
Firenze
Lucca
Pietrasanta
Vernazza (Cinque Terre)
Parma
